Sunflower Oil for Healthy Hair and Skin

I learnt about Sunflower oil from my officemates. They’ve been using it for their hair as one of them complains about her thinning hair, others use it to treat acne/pimples, to lighten dark underams and dark eye circles, and as a face and body moisturizer. I got curious and decided to buy a 100ml bottle of Sunflower oil from an officemate for 200 pesos. You can also buy it from beauty and drug stores.

I actually just opened it 3 days ago and I have been applying it to make my eyelashes grow thicker and longer hopefully (as seen on a youtube video 😊). I also learnt that it can help lighten dark underarms and dark eye circles so I’m gonna try that too.  I’ll keep you posted about the results.😄

Sunflower oil has an extremely high content of Vitamin E, essential for preventing damage to the skin cells by the ultraviolet light or UVA from the sun. It is also rich in vitamins A, C and D to regenerate the skin cells.

Sunflower oil is an important source of gamma alpha linolenic acid (GLA) which helps in preventing thinning of hair. It is effective in the treatment of hair-loss and baldness.

So there, just sharing some quick info/ experiment for you today. 😉 I’ll update you of pics if my eyelashes grow thicker. (Cross-fingers haha)

How to Get Postal ID- Robinson’s Las Pinas

Getting a valid ID has never been this easy. It only took me around 10 minutes to finish everything given that I was the 2nd in line. There weren’t a lot of people on queue to get a postal ID that day. The good thing about the new digitized card is that it is acceptable nationwide as a valid identification even at the DFA office in applying for a passport. I had to get one because I recently got married and so I have to have an ID that would show my married name and consequently needing it as a requirement to update my status on bank accounts, passport, driver’s license, etc.

I arrived at the Robinson’s mall in Las Pinas around 10AM just in time for the mall opening. You can check the different locations where you can apply for a postal ID @ http://www.philpost.gov.ph. I went straight to the Philpost booth and asked the procedures. They asked me to provide the requirements. I handed out a photocopy (just bring the original copies too just in case) of my birth certificate and marriage contract, and original barangay clearance then they gave me 2 copies of forms which I then filled out with the necessary information. The fee to get the ID is 504 pesos and it is valid for 3 years.

They encoded the details on the form which I had filled out and they captured my photo, biometrics and signature. A claim stub was given together with the receipt. I was advised that my ID card will be mailed to my address within 3-4 weeks.

That’s it on how to get a valid ID in the Philippines. I admire the friendly staff and efficient service. Thumbs up to you guys at Philpost. 😊

BENEFITS OF ALOE VERA ❤

Aloe is great for hydrating, moisturizing and rejuvinating the skin due to its high water content (over 99% water). I was looking for a natural moisturizer (since I have sensitive skin) that would fit perfectly for me especially that summer is approaching and it tends to be really hot here in the Philippines. Nature Republic’s Aloe Vera Gel contains 92% organic Aloe certified by California Certified organic farmers with no paraben (a preservative that may cause cancer as I’ve read in some research), mineral oil, and artificial color.

My first time applying the gel was in the evening before going to bed since the package arrived in the afternoon and I was already so excited to try it. It feels so refreshing and soothing. It gives a beautiful moisture on the face without the oily feeling. That was really love at first try. 😁

I also used it as moisturizer in my body after taking a bath. It’s perfect for the warm weather here in the Philippines. It doesn’t get sticky so it feels relaxing and comfortable on the skin.

Aloe contains many vitamins such as Vitamin A, C, and E, which are antioxidants that help maintain a youthful skin. It also contains sulphur and salycylic acid that are antimicrobial and antibacterial preventing pimples and itchiness on your skin. I am loving this aloe plant now more than ever! And it’s so great that there is an aloe gel that you can conveniently buy since not most of us can plant or get aloe vera anywhere. It would be such as tedious task also to be cutting and squeezing the juice out of it just so you can apply it onto your skin day and night. I hope that makes sense. Hihi. So there I just want to share with you my thoughts on this product because I am really happy about it. 😘

P.S I have yet to try the face massager. I’m excited about it too. I’ll keep you posted then. Ciao!
